The Red Dress Run in New Orleans is one of the largest Red Dress Runs in the United States. Hosted by the New Orleans Hash House Harriers, this huge event contributes to several local charities.



Wear the dirty linen from last week's White Linen Night to the fun Dirty Linen Night which showcases art galleries, antiques, jewelry and specialty shops along the culturally rich and elegant Royal Street.

Celebration the coming of spring and the Social Season in New Orleans, Bon Operatit! will
present "A 'Social' Evening of Song" for two hours of free, live entertainment at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter.

The Bon Operatit! ensemble members, consisting of Jesse Nolan (tenor), Mary Penick Akin (mezzo-soprano) and Lauren Mouney Gisclair (soprano), have been performing together since 2009 in and around New Orleans.

Guest artists may also be singing with the trio, and a pianist accompanies all performances.

The performance will last from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The hotel is located at the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse streets. Valet parking is available for a nominal $5 charge.

The performance will last from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The hotel is located at the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse streets. Valet parking is available for a nominal $5 charge.

The hotel stands on the site of the former French Opera House, which stood from 1859 to 1919 when it was destroyed by a fire. During the sixty years of its existence, the French Opera House was the hub of cultural life and entertainment in New Orleans. Visitors can read more about the history of the French Opera House from the bronze plaque on the outside of the building facing Bourbon Street.
