The Louisiana State Museum will continue to host Prospect.1 exhibits at the Old U.S. Mint for another week giving art lovers a second chance to see - or take a second look at - major works by international artists participating in the city-wide biennial.
Prospect.1 has officially closed at other venues around New Orleans.
At the Mint, the extended exhibit schedule will run from Tuesday, January 20, through Sunday, January 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Admission is free to the exhibits and the historic building, located in the French Quarter at the foot of Esplanade Avenue.
Among 12 contemporary artists represented at the Mint are South African photographer Zwlethu Methtwa and Japanese appropriation artist Yasumas Morimura
