Family Gras is the perfect weekend getaway for family. Once again Family Gras will take place on the neutral ground of Veterans Memorial Boulevard across from Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie, Louisiana. The ideal location to see the pageantry of Mardi Gras and enjoy the FREE outdoor concerts with Live Music on the Festival Plaza Main Stage & The Louisiana Stage from National Artists and Louisiana's Own.

Costuming encouraged...come out for Fright Night Friday wearing your spookiest threads. Join us Sports Saturday wearing your favorite team colors; and on Carnival Sunday, dress for the season...purple, green and gold!

Rouses Flambeaux Court food vendors will 'cook up' a good time with such favorites as jambalaya, crawfish pasta, muffulettas, pizza and gator-on-a-stick. Visit booths by Andrea's Restaurant, New Orleans Cookery, L&H Catering, Messina's Catering, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, WOW Cafe & Wingery and more. Enjoy Louisiana goodies at the Haydel's Bakery booth and the Old Town Praline's & Candy booth.

New this year is the Whole Foods Art Market featuring over 75 booths of specialty arts & crafts available for purchase Saturday & Sunday.
