My wife has been to New Orleans several times but this was my first time. So, in this review there are both ends of the spectrum. The hotel is the best of old French Quarter charm and modern convenience. We covered most of the French Quarter, on foot and neither one of us saw another hotel where we wished we had stayed. The location was optimal for what we wanted to do. The staff did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and inviting.
