Since the first New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 1970, the festival has been a cultural force whose appeal has grown steadily.  Throughout the years there have been numerous well known artists in attendance such as Duke Ellington, Fats Domino, The Neville Brothers, Harry Connick Jr., Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Dave Matthews Band, Patti LaBelle, the Allman Brothers Band and many others.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, or Jazz Fest as it is now more commonly known, has been the recipient of several honors over the years including being awarded the title of Festival of the Year multiple times by Pollstar magazine.  Come out this year for the 2012 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival when Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Foo Fighters, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers and others take to the stages and the food and fun are overflowing.
