Week 3 of the 2012 French Quarter Wine Festival Welcomes Flowers Vineyard & Winery and Pio Cesare!

For the 8th consecutive year, Flowers Vineyard & Winery has been named Artisan Winery of the Year in the annual Wine and Spirits Magazine Buying Guide.  On March 20th you can taste for yourself their delightful chardonnays and pinots.  The following evening, Pio Cesare winery will join us bringing with them their passion for producing the highest quality wines.  The wine from Pio Cesare winery can be found in top hotels and restaurants worldwide.



Flowers Vineyard & Winery - March 20, 2012
"Founded in 1989 by Walt and Joan Flowers, this winery is located just two miles from the Sonoma Coast and produces wine in this cool climate that are terroir driven.  With minimal intervention the wine is made in small batches, basket pressed and free-run fermented with wild yeast.  Join Director of Winemaking Jason Jardine as he walks you through their full line of chardonnays and pinots."

Pio Cesare - March 21, 2012

Opening night of the 2012 French Quarter Wine Festival is almost here and the excitement is growing for not only the exquisite wine dinners prepared by Chef Michael Farrell but also for this year's entertainment.  Local New Orleans band, Rebirth Brass Band, won their first Grammy Award this year in Los Angeles for their album, "Rebirth of New Orleans" and will be performing live at the Grand Opening Reception on March 2nd at Le Meritage at Maison Dupuy.  We hope you'll join us!
