The Rock n' Roll Marathon New Orleans Gets More than Just the Runners Moving
The annual Rock n' Roll New Orleans Marathon and 1/2 Marathon (formerly the Rock n' Roll Mardi Gras Marathon) takes runners on a flat 26.2 mile course throughout the city. The event, benefiting the American Cancer Society®, attracted approximately 15,000 runners last year with even higher numbers
predicted for this year. At various points along the race route, participants and spectators will be treated to live performances of a variety of musical styles from local bands. Come out and cheer on the runners, jam out to the music and have a great time while supporting the American Cancer Society®.
