Oktoberfest- October 13, 14, 20, 21
Three weekends in October packed full of German food, music and of course lots of beer.

Bridge City Gumbo Festival- October 13-15
Over 2,000 gallons of Bridge City's world famous gumbo will be cooked at the Bridge City Gumbo Festival on October 13, 14 and 15. Located on the West Bank, the festival is held at Gumbo Festival Park on Angel Square.
Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival- October 13-15
What a great combination, Blues and BBQ!
Enjoy all weekend at Lafayette Square, located along the St. Charles Streetcar Line.
Wooden Boat Festival- October 14 and 15
The boats will be there for your enjoyment and also to compete for awards in categories such as Best in Show, Best on Water and Best on Land. It's the 28th year of the show which raises money to support the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum. Located in Madisonville, Louisiana.
Are you ready for some Football!
LSU hosts the Auburn Tigers in Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge.
Kickoff is at 2:30pm on Saturday, October 14, televised on CBS.
The New Orleans Saints host the Detroit Lions in the Superdome, New Orleans.
Kickoff is at 12pm on Sunday, October 15
Don't forget about Sunday Brunch in the Maison Dupuy Courtyard from 11am - 2pm, a la carte menu.
