French Quarter Parades

Posted on: February 21, 2014 | Posted in: Uncategorized

The madness has begun for the Carnival season in New Orleans.

Krewe of Cork rolls this Friday at 3pm in the French Quarter. Following the traditional Uptown route and parading onto Canal Street, the Krewes of Oshun and Cleopatra kick it off at 6:00pm and 6:30pm.

On Saturday, the Krewes of Pontchartrain, Choctaw, Freret, Sparta and Pygmalion roll all day long.

Sunday wraps up the weekend with the Krewes of Carrollton, King Arthur and Merlin and Alla. Don't forget the Krewe of Barkus - yes, it is a parade for dogs and their masters that is a walking parade through the French Quarter starting at 2pm.

Come on down to the Maison Dupuy Hotel and get into the mahem!
