Live Blues at the Bistreaux

December 9 2014 | New Orleans Restaurant Events

Superb food, tasty drinks, an inviting atmosphere and exceptional entertainment—join us at our Bistreaux Tuesdays through Saturdays for live music by singer/songwriter Aaron Lopez-Barrantes. The soft glow bouncing off the wooden bar, the white covered tables, and the mural covered walls encompass the authentic French Quarter feel and transport you into another time.

With a blend of blues, folk and indie, the young artist will dazzle you with his unique musical stylings influenced by John Mayer, Kings of Convenience and Nick Drake. This rising star has played more than 200 shows in the last year including appearances at CMJ Festival in New York City and the RAW artist showcase at the Republic in New Orleans. Offbeat Magazine named him “one to watch.”

In addition to the soulful sounds, the Bistreaux features succulent food with fresh, local indigents from our executive chef Jason Schwartz. We’ve rolled out a new menu with delicious items like Crab Beignets and Butternut Squash Ravioli. Of course we kept fan favorites such as our Truffle Mac & Cheese.

Our uniquely blended and handcrafted cocktails concocted by our very own bar manager John Jackson. Join a glass of fine wine or sip on a Juana Margarita—sweet and sour mix perfectly blended with Sauza Commemorativo, watermelon liqueur, and ginger-lime syrup!

You won’t want to miss this music and more 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
